Big stump

Packs gatherings happen here. The packs leader climbs on the stump and howls, calling the pack. When all the packs members gather around the stump the leader talks, or says an annoucement of some kind.

She came.

Featherfan came and put Shadow ear in front of the stump. She climbed on the stump and started to talk:
- Shadow ear, my son. What is your decision?..

The pup was sleepy, so he didn't understand much what was his mother talking about. Finally he regained his senses and said:
- I want to become a hunter.

- So you have decided to be a hunter, and so will the great spirits grant your wish. The great Herb - Knower will leng you his knowledge and help you in tough times. The islands beings shall become your prey. From now, I annouce you as an apprentince, whom will become a hunter, - she finishes and howled to the moon.

Shadow ear was very happy. He, too, howled together with his mother.

- I wish you the very best luck in your trainings. I will teach you myself. Get ready, tommorow we will start the lessons, - said and jumped off the stump. Then walked away.

Shadow ear walked away.

Featherfang came and climbed up the stump.

Shadow ear came.

- Great spirits up there! Please take a very close look into this student named Shadow Ear! He was a great student, and a hard worker! - she shouted at the sky. Then she looked down at Shadow Ear. - From now on, all the live beings in the island will be your prey. I announce you as a Hunter! From now on, your name will e Shadow Fur. - Said and howled to the moon.

Then she jumped of the stump and licked Shadow Fur.
- I am very proud of you, - said and went to her tree.

He quietly said:
- Thanks, mom.... - Then howled too.

Then Shadow Fur went to the Hunter's tree.
